I'm honored that you're considering working together to help you feel better. The doctor-patient relationship is a sacred one, and it's important that you feel comfortable with my clinical process. I invite all prospective new patients to schedule a free 15 minute "Discovery Session" so that we can get to know each other and make sure I'm the right fit for you as a doctor. How can I schedule my Free Discovery Session?
I only work with patients that I know I can help. Please use the online scheduler on this page and select "Free Discovery Call", where you'll be prompted to book a time for us to speak. All Discovery Calls are done virtually over secure Zoom Video Call. You'll receive a welcome email with a link to join at our scheduled appointment time. This is an opportunity to share a bit about yourself and your health care goals as well as hear about my process in working with patients. There is no obligation to work together and the call is absolutely free.
Do you participate with any insurance plans?
No, unfortunately the insurance model has been designed in a way that forces doctors to have all-too-brief visits with their patients. You've likely experienced the typical 7-15 minute doctor's visit and understand how frustrating it can be to not get the time needed to share your needs and feel heard. This frustration is shared by your doctors as well, as they would much rather spend more time with each patient to provide thorough medical care. The insurance model simply does not allow for the 90 Minute initial visit we will have together or the 45 minute follow up appointments we'll need to get you truly well.
Can I still use my insurance to get reimbursed for visits?
Yes! I'll provide with a detailed "superbill" that has all of the diagnostic and treatment codes that your insurance plan needs to be able to reimburse you directly. As an "Out of Network" provider, your insurance company might reimburse you directly for a large portion of visit fees. Payment for visits is expected at time of service, and unfortunately we cannot guarantee that your visits will be reimbursed. You may want to call your insurance company and ask whether visits for Naturopathic Medicine or Acupuncture are covered and whether you have "Out of Network Benefits".
